Music was part of John's life from teenage years when he learnt to play the banjo and guitar. For some years he played professionally with a band working in hotels and holiday camps and during this time made many lasting friendships. These continued when he started the proper job of surveying! His instruments are now being played by others, who hopefully are having as much fun as he did with them. He thought music could enrich life for us all.
